Show off your Miata at this summer’s best car event!
Fourth-of-July weekend, four years ago, my buddy Rich drove his family car down to Pacific Raceways in Kent to see the “Northwest Historics” sports car races. A few hours later, he drove home with visions of Miatas dancing in his head.
What happened? Alongside the race track, parked in the event’s “car club corral” (surrounded by an amazing array of classic sports cars) Rich was drawn to a colorful cluster of Miatas…and a couple of enthusiastic CMNW members named John and Mario. They started chatting. And within a few minutes Rich knew he had to buy a Miata, and he had to join this club!
There’s no better place to meet people who love sports cars — and potential new CMNW members — than at this event. And this year you can show off YOUR Miata in the corral, watch a dozen or more vintage sports car races during the day — and take your Miata on a thrilling parade lap around the hilly, curvy, forest-surrounded Pacific Raceways course — for just $25! Here’s the skinny…

Where: Pacific Raceways in Kent (just off Hwy. 18)
When: Sat. July 5th, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (gates open at 8:30). CMNW participants will rendezvous for breakfast somewhere nearby at 6:30 (details to follow).
Cost: You pay the same $25 per person as the general public for all Saturday races and unlimited paddock access — with the special CMNW bonus of a special “car club corral” parking pass and mid-day parade lap.
Hurry: We only have space reserved in the "car club corral" for 20 cars. Get your check (payable to “SOVREN Guild”) to me no later than MAY 31st, and I’ll send them in all at once. You can also pay me at the next club meeting in May.
