This is a mainly scenic drive with some spirited sections mixed in, starting in Snohomish and ending at the Lake Diablo Lookout.  This has been a super fun drive the last few years, so we're bringing it back for the third year.

We'll be meeting up at the CVS on the corner of Pine Ave and 2nd St. in Snohomish.  After a short driver's meeting, we will be departing at about 9:00 AM for some fun back roads.  We will pass through Granite Falls, and after a few more twisties we will take a rest break in Arlington.

On the next leg we will pass through the area of the Oso landslide on our way to Darrington, and take some more backroads on our way to Concrete.  We will do a fun loop on a backroad and then head back into Concrete where we will be stopping for lunch at Annie's Pizza Station.

After lunch we then head towards Marblemount, and up to the Lake Diablo Lookout on Highway 20.  This is the end of the official drive.

However, on the way back home (optional) I am planning on returning to Concrete for some ice cream at Act One Ice Cream Parlor in Concrete - the owner is a Miata enthusiast!

After a break, I will likely drive some additional fun roads on my way back to Seattle.
