You're invited to our IRRATIONAL CELEBRATION!

Pi Day was started by a physicist to celebrate the mathematical sign pi. March 14th was chosen as the date because the numerical date, 3.14, is also the first three digits of pi. Coincidentally, but appropriately, March 14th is also Albert Einstein’s birthday! So what is pi? It’s the number that you’ll get every single time you calculate the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.

Somewhere along the way, Pi Day became the perfect opportunity to eat one of the world’s most delicious desserts, pie.

It's a little bit of an urban slog, but there are some good roads!!
