Celebrate Lunar New Year 2026 and get ready to honor the Year of the Horse!
For Chinese New Year, wear new clothes in lucky colors like red and gold to symbolize fresh starts, avoiding black and white.
We’ll share a lunch at Chan’s Palace in Woodinville.
It’s going to be an Urban Slog. We’re setting off from Renton and taking a lovely drive around Lake Washington, heading up Sand Point Way and through Mill Creek, all the way to Woodinville. Ending up at Chan’s Palace. An incredible retro Chinese restaurant with fantastic neon!
This trip will take about 1.75 hours and cover 52 miles, but be ready for a few bumps in the road, some clueless cyclists, and the usual bus and pedestrian traffic. Despite these little annoyances, the beautiful twisty roads will definitely make it all worthwhile. As proud Miata enthusiasts, we’re totally fearless and ready for whatever the road brings!
